A word abused by marketers and pitchmen everywhere to boost profits. No, a lace panel in a bra or panty does not all of a sudden transform underwear into lingerie.

Or if you prefer, the Thanksgiving dinner analogy: You terminate your otherwise pleasant REM state for your hand's date with a cold turkey cavity and then go on to spend hours assembling the complementary dishes brimming with family favorites. The table is set, the food is placed, and in 30 minutes the glorious feast has been decimated. Lingerie is not all about tarting the old girl up for a romp (although we have included a few vendors of that ilk); it's more than that.
