Home Appliances
In the early years this section would simply be known as White Goods, a generic name for major appliances for the domestic or commercial markets which performed a household or housekeeping task. The refrigerator, the stove, the dishwasher, the washer and dryer...all stalwart members of the white goods class. Then manufacturers looked around for slightly smaller tasks which might be made more convenient. Enter the mixer, blender, garbage disposal, toaster, crock pot, toaster oven, bread maker and others.
Each of these manufacturers understands that shoppers want to research before they invest in any large purchase, and their websites reflect this. Lots of information is provided. Often, options are provided so you may compare features of various models side by side. They know that the sale begins well before you enter the retailer's premises. See what we've found.
